It can be used safely and efficiently in all sectors of poultry farming and provides the user with an outstanding, cost efficient performance in the alleviation of respiratory problems.
How does it work –
Essential oils play an important role in human and veterinary medicine. The three main components of Mentofin are:
- Essential oils of eucalyptus, menthol and saponins.
- Essential oils of eucalyptus are considered to be among the most powerful antiseptics of their class, showing a (strong) micro-biocidal activity.
- One of the active components of eucalyptus, cineol, regulates the release of certain “messenger” molecules that are so-called mediators of inflammatory reactions, thus preventing the production and secretion of mucus. This molecule has strong anti-inflammatory characteristics.
- The alcoholic constituent of peppermint oil, menthol, has a “minty” odour and familiar cooling taste. It acts as a local anesthetics and disinfectant. Inhaled, it alleviates the symptoms of laryngitis and bronchitis.
- The saponin components are responsible for the complete water solubility and stability of Mentofin solution.
The only symptomatic relief for common respiratory problems in poultry:
Alleviation of respiratory problems.
- Overcoming of post vaccination reactions.
- Efficient stress reduction.
- Fast and reliable mode of action.
- No withdrawal period.
